I can remember Annie Grehan carrying the cans of milk into town too. Is her cottage not still there? Annie Roache did the same but she came from out the Rathbawn road and I think that it was at night that she delivered the milk. She would then return home on foot carrying the empty cans. She would do this even in winter time!
