I can confirm everything written by 'School Mate'about Aiden Shiels. May have been written by my alter ego. Aiden's schoolpals, along with myself, were John Kilkelly, John Flynn, Cappagh, now living in retirement in Castle Grove, late Mickey Heneghan, Balloor, late Alan Fallon, Charles Street, and the two little Tonra boys, John and James, Ballymacragh, who were drowned in 1947. Jack Flynn was outstanding at school, top of the class. Hope to meet him soon. I have come up against a blank in trying to trace Aiden Shiels. Must keep trying. Regards to all schoolpals at home and abroad.
