Lavelles Bakery is still going strong it now trades as The Upper Crust but the company name is Lavelles Bakery Ltd.. The same family still run the bakery. The presant generation of the family I.e. Margaret Tighe, Anne O Malley and Kevin Ryan are at least the 6th generation to run the business. This summer 3 of the 'next' generation had summer jobs in the bakery making then them the 7th generationto work there -not many business in town can top that???????
