you are the kath im trying to locate alright in a letter to the editor of the western people ann ryan 6707 duluth avenue baltimore maryland 21222 1012 states that her family aredescendedfrom 4 brothers who emigrated from mayo approx 1860s their names were martin peter edward and james gilroy their fathers name was michael they had a couple of brothers one of whom was michael who was married and had a large family at that time their home was a farm within sight of the atlantic ocean their nearest towns were ballina and sligo they spelled their names both asgilroy and gillroy they became miners in pennsylvania and two of them left after a few years to take their families to the american wesr the younger generation have been reunited since the 70s and she is trying to make contact with michaels descendants just thought this item may be of interest to you best wishes md
