md is correct. Errew Abbey is a ruin of an abbey located on a peninsula in Lough Conn. On the way to Lahardane and Crossmolina you see little brown and white signs directing you there but I have never actually found it. It ends at a fence. There is some info about it on the Crossmolina site. (Since I live in the US, You can tell I have spent too much time in Mayo when I know this much detail.) Errew Abbey is actually written up in guidebooks but I have not yet found it. Will try again with md's help!
