On a completely different note, I see a photo on this week's Mayo News of a presentation to Hugh O'Malley and his wife on the occasion of Hugh's retirement from the garda force. Hugh was stationed in Leenane for most of his time and the presentation was from the people from the area. Makes you realise how time flies!
