Now Now ,Tempus, I shun the limelight, haven't even been on TV!. Allthough on the QT, between you and me ,I snuck across the river the other night, to chat with the lads, and make some inquiries on highly technical matters, and lo and behold there was M.M. right behind me, BUSTED!. Anyhow as we are in a 'string' .In the matter ' of public toilets. Whilst i was residing in San Fransisco some "Moons" ago, A motion was brought forward (up?) in City Council that of the notion or motion of installing "Public Toilets" on the streets of the city. And one Female member piped up to announce that she was "privy" to the fact that the city of Paris France had Public Toilets. AND that it would behove the members of the council to send a delegation to France to examine the public "Urinals and Arsenals" so that they would be bettor informed to erect their own bidets, asswell!. OF course the Lady councilmember recommended that she 'head' the delegation. When the newspapers published the story there was a public outcry, concieving that it was all a scam or a sham to go touring the "City by the Seine" to visit the sites in the city of love,' The Arch De Triumph', 'The Ifell Toweer' 'The Lou'! . I don't speak French so please excuse any misspelling. Anyway this whole scheme went down the toilet, As the delegation did go to 'Gay Pari' ,but the Johns or Jacks were never built. So ends another passage of "The Politicians Folly".
