I can remember some of my first trip to the Cinema, as kids, the matinee, Sunday afternoon, the pit, 4 pence, tossed in the cardboard box, Willie Ainsworth, then charge down that dark hallway, Hopolong Cassidy, The lone Ranger, the scary serials, The Clutching Hand. I seem to remember, we used to have some live entertainment on the stage, Bridie Maloney, Put your right foot in, Put left foot out, you do the hookie pookie and turn all around, thats what it is all about. Then of course, you graduated to the 1s.3p and eventually the balcony 2s.2p What fun.
