further to an preachan raising this subject i would be interested to know what the consensus of this enlightened board is as regards to the historical background of the irish travellers iused to think that they were irish families who went on the road during the famine and continued that way of life however ihave often wondered were they not part of a more european romany because up to recent years they pursued similar lifestyles cultures skills in a time when communications werent what they are now
