Yes you are correct, Kyrie was Greek ( but we were never told that, we had to look it up in the dictionary ourselves to find out!) Amazing how you mentioned Mrs Davis and Mrs Lally whom I had forgotten about. It was a great treat to get some time off schol to go and serve a high mass. I remember how I was reprimanded in fifth class for saying how unfortunate it was that none of the brothers died, whereas the nuns seemed to die on a regular basis!. Seemingly, a nun had died and that meant that the girls had two days off school, where we had no days off.....how unfair.
