As for Toyland....I don't think the modern toy shops can generate the same sense of wonder and excitment. The long stairs, and the sheer excitment on this first day of its opening each christmas time.
Do you remember the cable system that used to be in Durkans hardware shop for whizzing money over to the cash desk ?
