R/E #19 after Scott's butcher shop: When we lived in the Brownsville flats (yes i was a townie once just don't tell anybody)we used to frequent a small confectionary/ sweet shop/tiny tiny restaurant/past the counter on your right you would go down the steps behind a curtain there were two or three small tables with red chequered tablecloths and if they were'nt red they were blue!, this little cafe oasis was run by a sweet old lady i can't remember her name or the name of the shop ,years later after St. Pat's had moved to the Barracks i would go there for soup and bread when my Mother was away. Anyone?
