Thanks for telling us all about bogeys. I did`nt know about John Koe`s expertise as a bogey builder. I can recall an organised bogey derby (soapbox derby ? ) on Blackfort Hill in the very early 60s. It was won by Frank Pelly. His bogey was painted brightly and stood out from all the others and was first past the line.
As to my original query about Combo - I presume passing and scoring with a *ball* in Faulkner`s gate. In the Emmets quarter we called that " three to get in". When the goalie let in three goals he was replaced.
