The Cunningham twins were ushers in the cinema around 1960 or 1963. They were certainly before the rowdy period when Batha Roach and Willie Ainsworth 'patrolled the aisles and served eviction notices'. I think they may also have worked in the Wimpy Bar. I always thought they were from Newtown or thereabouts. I don't remember them being around town in the later 1960's so presumably they left to work elsewhere.
By the way were you able to access the photo of Davitt's funeral?
