Happy May day.The sun will be cracking the stones here in Virginia too,as it was yesterday.May day in my youth was spent putting flowers on peoples door steps.We gathered the flowers usually May flowers ( Marsh Marigolds ) and placed them on the doorsteps.Does anybody remember this tradition and what was its origin?
