Despite my very young age MM(!!) I too remember "Those Were the Days" by Mary Hopkin.And they certainly were, with haunts like The Goalpost on Castle Street where they had a juke box. And the names coming to mind are really too numerous to mention.....And I can remember the songs on that jukebox, Troggs, Animals, Rolling Stones, Beatles, Herman's Hermits, Tom Jones (Help Yourself, 1968)Manfred Mann, Tremeloes, and the list goes on.
Isn't it amazing how certain songs activate the memories of years ago and in a flash, you're right back there again.
