Great stuff Que, very enjoyable. And don't forget the white ankle socks, nettle stings, cowboys and indians, making and racing bogeys, bicycle hoop races,the fugitive on tv, staring David Janson as Dr. Kimble, a QM production, and the ad. 4% tax free with the Irish Permanent building society, and the ads for Butlins,and JimmyO'Dea and David Kelly up in the signal box on a Sunday night, and the Riordans and Daithi Lacha and the thrupenny ice creams from Duxies, and short pants and the macaroni bars from Carneys in Chapel Street, and Willie Munnelly's cycle shop and all the stalls selling rosary beads, medals and brown scapulars when the mission was on....and Fr. Nohilly thanking everyone verrry verrrry sincerely for contributing to the collections....and Fr. Fair who could never start masss on time (we have another such gent at the moment!)...and brown jergins....and wellies and how the socks would disappear if you didn't have garters! and mi wadi....I could go on, but that's for another time, another day.
