My name is Tony Whelan. I was born in DunLaoghaire, but my mum, Nora Biggins, was from Castlebar, or just outside: up the road from the conical tower. My sister Eilis spent some time over in Eire last year. My wife, Moira, has just given birth to our fifth son, Matthew William. The Whelans are going to populate Geelong, Australia, as my brother, Tom has 5 children as well. Are you all ready to have a visit from David Whelan, my eldest brother. He hasn't been back to Ireland since 1958. Mum and dad sent him to stay with the Carney's for a few months, but he terrorised the farmers so much that they shipped him off to Australia, as well as his whole family. Well, the terror of the West is due to come again this year, maybe. He's a great guy, but don't believe all the bullshit. David is a rough diamond. He's into making computers and will do anything for the battlers of life. He's made up several computers for family's in our area who otherwise couldn't afford to buy one. (never charged). I hope you're all well and I had better stop rabbiting on. Bye for now.
