Wow - That even stirred a memory for me. Stewarts Shop on the Corner selling excellent Ice Cream Cones, Remember having them in the summer on the way back from Old Head or Pontoon. Unbelievable to think now how busy this shop and corner was when you see how sadly derelict it is now.
Also remember Tom McHugh's little shoe repair place somewhere in at the back of Joyces/Kilcoynes. Anyone know how long that's gone?
