Murrisk ,between Islandeady Lough and Lough Lannagh lies the townland of Annagh but also situated on this piece of land is a small lake called Annagh Lough.I believe that somehow as this was the nearest lough it became Ipso facto est.This small lake is quite close to PMcCarthys house.Where did Church Lake come from???
