A lot of people only made it to the Half-Way. Some made it to the pubs in Westport, some got to the Quay and some got as far as the Shebeeen. The really adventures made it to Murrisk to Cambells and the pub on the Westport side of it. Of course you could always get to Cambells by bus. There must have been special licensing laws for for Reek Saturday night or maybe with the volume of business to be done no one gave a damn for the law on that night. As you pointed out the cafes did good business too on Reek Saturday and Reek Sunday.
