MCR - Mayo Community Radio - broadcast from above the Humbert Inn in the early eighties. It was on air from 10 am to 7 pm originally before expanding the hours. It played a lot of alternative stuff, as well as its sgare of pap. Reggae was popular as well as genuine country.
