Thanks MM that is very informative. There is a concern in Canada that West Nile virus will jump the border down east, if it has not already done so. A couple of years ago a form of sleeping sickness/enchepalitis showed up in mosquitoes around Winnipeg. After about 15 or so years Lyme disease has now made it to the west coast. It seems inevitable that in time we will all be exposed to these threats.
