Marty McGowan was a great character and what a pity he has`nt been recorded in conversation.
On being offered rhubarb tart in a neighbours house, Marty graciously declined by explaining " well I`d love to Mam, but the way it is with me now if I had the tart I`d need to be wearing a skirt for the next 24 hours"
