With apologies to Butch as I missed said postings.I do recall watching Powie lift the rear end of a VW Beetle in Lower Charles street.The occupants of said Beetle werent too happy.Another great character from the cottages was George Lally.I got to know George in his final years thru walking .We walked a few 4 Day Walks together and he was as fit as a fiddle,or indeed as a well oiled bike.What a man.
