A dram = 1/8 of an ounce or sixty grains or 3 scruples apothecaries measure. Also, 1/16 part of an ounce avoirdupois.
A gill = 1/4 of a pint. Interestingly a gill is also a sweetheart AND a wanton girl.
A jigger = a whiskey glass holding 1 1/2 ounces.
A noggin = 1 gill.
A hogshead = 52 1/2 imperial gallons.
I think the "meejum" of stout is the same as the Irish 'dailc' which is a low sized stout.
