I remember him well. It only seems like yesterday when I was learning to swim in the shallow pool. Everybody got a prize at the annual swimming gala at the end of the summer. I lived for the summer every day rain and shine splash! into the lake off the diving board. Lord rest his soul. They should build a statue of mickey at the lakeside so that he can continue to watch over the young castlebar swimmers. It is a pity they saw fit to get rid of the diving board.
