Christmas cards and New Years Day cards, a jingle in my pocket every day of the holidays, deorums for the postmen (I suppose they walked it of),accordion style decorations strung from the four corners of the room to the central electric light,clip on candles and white porcelain angels for the Christmas tree, a plastic helicopter disk launched from a hand launcher (pull the cord) which munched through the red decorations, new duds for Christmas, roast goose, extra food portions for the farm animals on Christmas Day, bottles of poitín hidden in the shed, comparing santas gifts with friends................
