The waites were out as far as I know. Unfortunately, since moving to the suburbs(!) over twenty years ago, the waites don't come this far.
But I have fond memories of trying to wait awake at night in December, and listening to the call: Happy Christmas Mr & Mrs "Tempus" and all the little children on this cold and frosty morning. And the sound of the accordian as it approached and then faded away in the distance. Sheer majic.
