Jean (and anyone else interested) - The link below is to a general guide to uploading text and photos to the Castlebar web site. Use the upload images to upload your scanned photos. may experience a delay while the files are transferring depending on their size. When you upload images they are placed in the folder called artman/upoads/ so that you can link to photographs directly in this folder as follows:
http://www.castlebar.ie/artman/uploads/yourphotoname.jpg
replace yourphotoname.jpg with whatever name you are using. Give your photographs meaningful names because the folder is shared and later on someone else may be able to overwrite an obvious file name like image1.jpg for example, with a different photo with the same name.
To make the photographs appear on the Nostalgia Board once you have uploaded them, e.g., to link to your yourphotoname.jpg for example put the following link in the Optional Image URL box in the Nostalgia Board:
http://www.castlebar.ie/artman/uploads/yourphotoname.jpg
