I think what's being done with memories on this site is quite wonderful.

I feel terribly old. The question I'm asking is: After whom is Ellison St. named?

I just date back to around ca. 1750 when our Rev. Thomas Ellison was rector of Castlebar. There were also numerous other Ellisons here around that time -- before and after.

I'm not familiar with Castlebar, so if someone could tell me anything about Christ Church or Ellison St., I would appreciate it immensely.

I'm a tad confused. One picture talks about a view of Castle Street on the junction of Ellison and Main Streets. Another picture shows "Ellison and Main Streets." Can someone explain this? Do they simply merge?

Thanks so much. The site is great. I do a lot of historical research in the U.S., and what's being done here is just wonderful. Kathy
