Butch, I was never one to correct my elders, but if this is a snap of one of the Grehan sisters, it must be Mamie. Poor Annie ( with the mnilk cans) was almost horizontal with the ground from her head to her hips.
Mamie was the stay at home sister and was very cross with those of us kids that ventured on to her property. The Grehan sisters featured on this board in 2000. Around this time also I corresponded briefly with a nephew of the sisters living in NY. He had posted an enquiry on the Roots page seeking any descendants of his aunts.
Baile na gCloch was indeed a great mushroom haven !
