Boxty is a bread made from the raw pulp of potatoes. It has potatoes, wheat flour, butter or fresh bacon drippings and salt and pepper in the recipe. I am copying this from one of my cook books. Butch, it is not Spam. Spam is like a canned luncheon meat.
