I remember that tradgedy when I was very young.Like JDP I somehow thought that there were 2 involved. I remember Brady's shop well, next to the Post Office. Mrs Brady was a lovely lady and her husband Tommy also had a workshop behind Langans, as you approach Market Square. Later on Dick Concannon had a small drapery shop there.
Ber Brady's older brother Tom is married near Swinford, as far as I know.
