Changed times.....I attended the 5pm.ceremonies today where there was a small "drama" with the school children involved. It was a lovely service but the church was just about half full and so many people came in late....very late! Far cry from the days when you couldn't get a seat unless you were present well before the start, and no one dared to arrive late.
And I always remember as a child, that Holy Thursday, Good Friday were in my mind, the longest days of the year, with nothing to do except the many jobs which were always lined up for everyone to do around the house.
Then on Easter Sunday morning, we always got the same greeting from Tom Moran when he delivered the milk....well tell me, how many eggs did you have for breakfast? And wasn't it just great to tuck into the Easter eggs, big and small!
Greetings to all contributors for a terrific Easter. I'll raise a glass or a few in your honour when I come off the tennis courts later on!
