I have some data on two brothers of my gg gf who emigrated to Aust. in the 1840s. (Descendants of one visited Castlebar while on leave from the Aus. forces during the Great War.)
Searching the surname message board of the woman from Strokestown and using her married surname as a keyword, threw up queries from another descendant who was aware of the ancestral surnames but not where they originated.
