I don't know if Michael was related. His parents and my g grandparents were Austin Needham and Mary Geraghty. They and Michael lived in the second to last cottage on the path up to the Reek. I've been curious as to why there seemed to be a concentration of Needhams nearby. I think Michael's mail journeys do add up to more than one circumnavigation of the globe---I heard maybe nine times around. Not bad for someone that never left Mayo. Thanks for the tourism history.
