It's absolutley brilliant, I was gutted for the lads when all the Keane controversy hit the headlines. How sad that the media reports constantly stated that Roy Keane was our only "World Class Player". What about Duff, The real Keano, Holland Given and Finan. In my humble opinion our best player is missing and that is Steven Carr, truly World Class.
Keane (Roy) is a football genius but not an Irish team player, having watched all Irish games for the last 2 decades, he harrasses an average defence, and makes them nervous.
Players like Gary Breen and Stan could not have delivered todays performance if Roy Keane was playing.
It's a fantastic day to be Irish where ever you are, the lads have once again done us proud not to mention the 12th man.
Roll on the Saudi's and fasten your seat belts for England v Argentina.
