Willie Mc Neely from Mc Hale Road, ended up in many sales jobs over the years, but sport was his main interest and for the past 5 years was SPORTS EDITOR Mid West& North West radio.He could make a very dull match extremely exciting, a la Micheal O'hEithir of long ago.Fr. Murphy spoke very eloquently today about Willie's battle with cancer, his work for others and above all his generosity of spirit and his positive outlook on life.He had a passion for all sports and was one hell of a nice guy.He's another of the good ones gone, at just 47 years of age. Sincere sympathy to his heart broken family.
May he rest in peace.
