Gyne is also a teacher and very much alive. This was a schoolboy nickname and just in case some curious smart alec young fellow wanders into this page I`m not going to identify him ( even though Gyne would be expert at dealing with smart alecs as he was a master smart alec himself!)He caused some of us younger neighbouring kids to have sore necks from gazing skywards on starry nights in the hope of spotting the Russian sputniks.
