I can never figure out how people remember specific years like you do Max! Some particular event or other mentioned by someone will at times trigger the correct year, but for me, I couldn't tell you what the summer of 3 years ago was like.
However, I remember quite a lot of them and associate them with particular years in school and the good ones tend to have been sunny! I suppose a bit of selective amnesia plays a part, like you said, we remember the sunny days and string them all together. By the way, the tennis is super, but and I failed to bring our last opponents down to my usual standard, a feat that I am usually good at, according to one wit there tonight!!
