A wonderful lingo - Where did it come from?

My intrepretation: The lime reference is that when hens have a lime (calcium) deficency they produce shell less eggs (bóguggs - soft eggs). The "clocker" is a hatching hen who will disturb the rest of the roost. "Gloogers" are unfertilized eggs which after being hatched in the heat for 18 or whatever days would understandibly be very "high" - stinking. Good enought reason to dispose of them out in a field.
