Posted by PJ on October 14, 2002 at 11:21:16: We're in the process of organising all our Old Pix of Castlebar into one directory - the initial attempt at which can be viewed at the below index. In addition, we are still seeking the loan of private Old Pictures (or any documents of interest) relating to Castlebar or the surrounding areas to add to the archive, so if any of your have old pictures of the town or group photos (Class Pix, Old Team photos, Gatherings, Socials, etc) that you could lend to us for scanning or could scan yourselves and send us as a jpg file (preferred size not larger than 700 x 500 pixels) please e-mail or call me or drop into the Office on Spencer Street for a chat. All photos/documents will be carefully handled and returned in the same condition as received, hopefully within a day or two of receipt.
