Magazine field is between the General Hospital
and the new County Council building almost
opposite the swimming pool.
Johnnys field (Mc Cormacks) was behind Lucan St
and was developed by putting matchboxes on the site.Across the road is Faulkners which is
also gone the way of houses(better quality).
Pidgeon Hill I think was Pidgeon Park area?
Not to forget the Lawn where all the proper young
ladies went to school.Now dissected by the new
road with houses and Davitt college.
