Posted by gt on November 13, 2002 at 18:03:05: Anyone remember the "hogies" (maybe spelt wrong) down by Marian row and Bridgets Crescent. Probably Castlebar's only home grown and unique sport. If anyone has really good memory they might rember what doing a "skin" was? I think you have to be of a generation that was no older than 45, none of this stuff was possible before the stream was walled in.
