Thanks to everyone for your salutations. May we all prosper in health. May our tribe grow. Thanks to Mogli for reprinting the poem " An Long,Thainig long O Valparaiso" in both bearla agus gaelig and to M.M. for the interesting link to The Keough Institute of Irish studies, affiliated with the prestigious University of Notre Dame. It brought to mind of a conversation on the main B.B. over a year ago; Russians attending school for Irish. Boasting fluent graduates!. Brendan Behan preferred the Gaelic, as well as the jar I know, (See "Ullic and Brendan" by Ullic 'O Conner'). Well on to the subject matter , 'Agus go mbeiramis beo ar an am seo aris, agus go mhaith lom, suas ar an Cruaigh Padraig le chead Eanair an blian 'oceathair' ,le an sagairt, mo cairde sibhse, agus Max,. Does'nt it get kind of slippery severe, and cold towards the top?Max. Or is there a cable car running the tourists back and forth for a shilling a ride. Did you stop off somewhere afterwards Max or go straight home?. Is ' Murrisk's local still at the bottom?..................... Thanks for keeping the fire lit. " May we meet in the fishing nets of God"
