Today's date brought me back this morning to the gathering of reeds in Flannelly's field (Lar's not Jacko's!)and bringing the lot back home. Then the fun started. The big kitchen table was covered in green, as we did our best to make the crosses without them falling apart and having to start again. I must say that I wasn't very successful at it, but some of the pals, most notably B. P. acquired the knack very smartly and turned out some very profesional work!
