Came across this when I searched on "Gus Wynne Castlebar". I trying to find out why my deceased grandfather had a note stashed in his family photos and papers that read:
"Mr. Gus Wynne, Main St., Castlebar, Co. Mayo, Ireland"
Note would have been written between 1930-1970. My grandfather lived in New York and Georgia, was not from Ireland, and probably never visited it. Does anyone have information about Mr. Wynne that might provide a clue as to his importance to my grandfather?
