I'd like to state that I agree also with gt. The councillors are a good decent bunch, giving of their time and doing a very thankless job very well under the circumstances. Its a pity the Mayo Co Council wing of the "officials" dont give a hoot about the town. They have held up the efforts to extend the urban boundary for years and look at the mess they have made of the Newline. Newline is the greatest blot on the Council's copybook at the moment and its not the fault of any councillor.
