Swimmers left to right. Tom Fitzgerald, Spencer St.,David Gilligan, Marian Row, Pat Heraty R.I.P., St. Bridgets Cresent, Paraic Cresham, McHale Rd., James Cahill Rathbawn, Breen Hoban, Newtown.
The occasion was the opening of The Gus Wynne childrens pool in 1966. Swimming teacher Ann Durcan R.I.P., Main St. had just given a demonstration of swimming teaching techniques.
